Corex Metal-Cor Electrodes

Applications

Corex Metal-Cor Metal-Cor Electrodes are intended for single and multiple pass welding in the flat and horizontal positions. Electrode diameters of.052 inches and smaller can be welded in all positions when used in the short circuit mode.

Metal-Cor Electrodes can be used to weld in either an automatic or semiautomatic mode. Excellent restrike characteristics along with low spatter levels and high deposition rates and efficiencies make these electrode highly adaptable for robotic applications. Corex Metal-Cor Electrodes are designed for welding carbon steel plate and sheet metal, especially where the elimination of spatter and cleanup is of primary concern. Metal-Cor Electrodes can also be used to weld certain high-strength steels where requirements and conditions do not exceed the capabilities of the electrode.
